Lions Clubs International ve Capaccio Paestum Belediyesi’nin organizasyonuyla 4 Temmuz 2026 tarihinde İtalya’nın tarihi Paestum antik kentinde düzenlenen Uluslararası “Poseidonia – Paestum” Şiir Yarışması’nda, “Yabancı Şairler” kategorisinde 3.’lük Ödülü’ne layık görülmenin onurunu ve mutluluğunu yaşıyorum.
Ödüle değer görülen “Bağ” adlı şiirimi İtalyan diline büyük bir hassasiyet ve estetikle kazandıran İtalya’nın değerli şair ve tercümanı kıymetlim Claudia Piccinno ’ya özel şükranlarımı sunarım. Yüreğinize ve emeğinize sağlık, değerlim.

Sanatla Yoğrulan Özel Bir Ödül –
Bizlere takdim edilen ödül, başlı başına özgün bir sanat eseridir.
Mimari detayları, heykeltıraş ve seramik sanatçısı Italo Cerullo’nun imzasını taşıyan bu çalışma; İtalya’nın ünlü Paestum antik kentindeki Ceres Tapınağı’nın mimari bir dokusunu barındırmaktadır. Sanatçının kendi laboratuvarı olan “ARTE CERAMICA PAESTUM” bünyesinde tamamen el yapımı olarak üretilmiş, elle boyanmış ve sertifikalandırılmış özel bir seramik eserdir. Mimar Italo Cerullo’ya da bu kalıcı sanat eseri için teşekkürlerimi borç bilirim.
Uluslararası alanda şiirimizin sesini duyurabilmenin gururuyla, emeği geçen, kalbiyle ve desteğiyle yanımda olan herkese derin şükranlarımla…

The Joy of International Success and My Gratitude…
I am honored and delighted to have been awarded 3rd place in the “Foreign Poets” category at the International “Poseidonia – Paestum” Poetry Competition, organized by Lions Clubs International and the Municipality of Capaccio Paestum, held on July 4, 2026, in the ancient city of Paestum, Italy.
I would like to express my special thanks to Claudio Piccinno, a valuable Italian poet and translator, who translated my award-winning poem “The Bond” into Italian with great sensitivity and aesthetics. Thank you for your heartfelt efforts, my dear.
I would also like to thank those who provided unwavering support throughout this valuable process;
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Luca Di Bartolomeo, Host President of Lions Club Paestum,
to Alberto Granese, President of the Jury (Il Presidente della Giuria), who was chosen with objectivity,
and to Gaetano Paolino, Mayor of Capaccio Paestum (Il Sindaco).

A Special Award Shaped by Art –
The award presented to us is a unique work of art in itself. This work, bearing the signature of sculptor and ceramic artist Italo Cerullo, with its architectural details; This piece features an architectural texture from the Temple of Ceres in the famous ancient city of Paestum, Italy. It is a unique ceramic work, entirely handmade, hand-painted, and certified, produced in the artist’s own laboratory, “ARTE CERAMICA PAESTUM.” I also owe my thanks to architect Italo Cerullo for this enduring work of art.
With the pride of being able to make the voice of our poetry heard internationally, and with deep gratitude to everyone who contributed, supported, and stood by me with their hearts…
